Why does Traditional Medicine Only Work 50%?

The traditional health check, nowadays, includes measuring vital signs such as the blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels, blood tests, ECG, etc. The health check of this type provides a static snapshot and misses important trends and the big picture of your health. The reference ranges describe what is typical for a particular healthy reference group based on age, sex and other characteristics. A “normal” result as defined by a laboratory does not mean that the value is optimal for you. Your body is not an integrated “thing”, it is an ever-changing process. A process cannot be understood by halting it and taking a snapshots here and there. Understanding the process is joining it and flowing with it. Health is the body’s subtle mechanism kept in perfect balance. Look at your health as a mechanism that has an input (the food you eat, sleeping and exercising patterns, hygiene of thoughts and emotions) and output (sense of wellbeing, sense of content, fulfillment and accomplishment, your level of everyday joy and easiness). Observing your body’s responses to everyday events helps you build up a real image. By understanding the dynamics of your body’s functional body (the process) you become in charge of the output by navigating the input. Your body is your very personal chemical laboratory with thousands of trillions of tiny processes between each two heart beats.
